How Architectural Woven Mesh Is Manufactured
Wire rods are crimped to form warp (longitudinal) wires and weft (transverse) wires. Warp wires are guided individually through the loom’s heald frames. The healds create an open shed for weft wires to be inserted either automatically or manually.
Once the weft wire is in position, the reed pushes it firmly into place. The heald frames then shift to form the over-under weave pattern, repeating the process to create a consistent, high-strength mesh.
